Skating and Hockey in Ogden!

The Ice Sheet was built for the Olympics and is located in the parking lot of the Dee Events Center. The Ice sheet is home to the Weber State Wildcats Hockey Club and hosts ice hockey leagues which are open to the public. There are also regularly scheduled recreational skating sessions. The Ogden River Parkway runs parallel to the Ogden River from Washington Blvd. to the mouth of Ogden Canyon, this system of paved trails attracts many roller skaters. Be sure to watch for pedestrians and cyclers.

The Ogden Skate Park has an abundance of bowls, rails, curbs and ledges. Not a huge park, but a fun time for any skateboard enthusiast.

The North Ogden Skate Park is a little larger that the Ogden Skate Park. It has above ground concrete ramps, quarter-pipes, banks, rails, boxes, stairs, a spine and metal coping throughout.

21st Street Pond isocated west of Ogden and east of the I-15 freeway on 21st street, the 21st street pond offers good skating when the weather is cold enough. Be sure that the ice is solid and that you are aware of potentially hazardous areas before venturing onto the pond.
